This one is a real winter warmer with a host of health benifits.

For one cup you will need:

1 inch ginger

1 inch turmeric

½ lemon or orange

Honey, optional, to taste

 

Preparation

Grate or chop the ginger and turmeric, squeeze out the lemon/orange, top up with boiling water, and optionally, add a little bit of honey.

Steep for about 5 minutes, preferably covered to make sure the volatile oils don’t evaporate.

Enjoy!
You can drink it hot or let it cool down and drink the next day.
