These truffles are incredibly easy to make and taste amazing!
What you’ll need
10 medjool dates (pitted)
1 cup chopped walnuts
1tsp spirulina powder
¼ cup desiccated coconut (unsweetened)
1tbsp coconut oil
4tbsp desiccated coconut for covering
Mash up the dates with the walnuts, either with a blender or elbow grease. Once this mixture has the consistency you want, add the spirulina, coconut oil and desiccated coconut and mix well. (use your hands if you like, they will get very green)
Roll the mixture into balls the size of walnuts, roll around in the coconut to cover, enjoy!
If not eaten straight away, store in an airtight container in the fridge.
